KODA Down Under
KODA by Kodasema ® award winning houses are in Australia!
Good news for our Australian KODA fans! We are thrilled to announce that KODA by Kodasema is about to reach the furthest market yet – we have signed a licence agreement to bring KODA houses to the Lucky Country with KODA Australia / LMPK PTY Ltd. If you want to stay in touch with our progress in Australia, then sign up right now below and we’ll keep you posted on when you can place your order and other KODA Australia news!
Many components and finishes for the Australian KODAs will still be shipped over from brand’s country of origin Estonia, making sure KODA’s trademark European design feel and touch remains firmly in place. The production has started locally in Perth, to make sure we can offer the same sweet and short delivery times to our Aussie fans, as we do in Europe. The first model available for order in Australia is the 25,8sqm KODA Loft, followed by the 45,8 sqm KODA Loft Extended.
The first Australia-built KODA Loft was officially launched in November 2022. You can request a price list below and place your order right away. For those of you who love tiny living, but require a bit more space, the KODA Loft Extended is scheduled for release in Australia in mid 2023.
So sign up below for our Australian newsletter today, and you’ll be the first to hear when our Aussie KODAs will be ready for viewing – and receive any other Australia-related news!
Meet the team
The team behind our Australian expansion is led by Leanne McKenzie, a true adventurer, who has trained in the English Channel for the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race and flown two Outback Air Races as pilot in command to raise money for the Royal Flying Doctor. Leanne has a passion for unique and creative tiny housing design. Having travelled around Australia in a camper trailer with her two border collies, and living briefly on a cruising yacht sailing the Australian and Asian coastlines, Leanne has a personal appreciation for smartly designed small spaces, making her a perfect fit with KODA houses.
Leanne is joined by Philip Kemp, who is an experienced and established construction industry veteran. With a background in Management and Economics, Philip worked in Asia to manage and coordinate building projects in challenging environments that led him to teaching as well as creating learning environments for staff and industry. Residing in Perth, WA, his building company has worked on luxury beach and riverfront homes, apartment buildings, schools, police and government buildings, even airport structures. He is an active volunteer participant in the Construction Industry with the Master Builders Association of WA. His roles at the MBA have allowed him to participate in and lobby state and federal decision makers for positive outcomes for the construction industry in Australia. Being a keen advocate for small and modular housing, his love for timber building innovation and industry leadership in the implementation and use of virtual building and component design software, makes him and KODA houses a natural match.
